a wish... what is it exactly?

a thought
a care
a want
a need... 

why do we wish? 
do they always come true?
do any of them?

what exactly should we wish for?

happiness
love
money
sex
care...

why do we wish for these things when we can them ourselves?

or do we wish for a way to get these things?
does that make it better?

thoughts can get you in trouble with others.. but wishes can
hurt only yourself because you always expect them to come
true.
