No More Second Chances, by Convalescence Subscribe to rss feed for Convalescence

I wait for that day,
though I don't know how far away
it could be.
I watched him die,
and now I lay here and cry.
When will that day come for me?

I wait for that day,
no matter how far away.
I dance in the rain.
I enjoy the time left,
pray for people I've met,
and watch everything change.

A gain for each loss,
and such a high cost.
In the past I ran.
Now I face each day,
and don't look away
from the day of no more second chances.
