Saving our planet, by Robin Goodwin Subscribe to rss feed for Robin Goodwin

The micro bodies of this planet,
Is the place where life began.
This microscopic spawn of life,
Are the building blocks of the eco plan.

They are the foundations of our evolution,
For everything living existing today.
How long have they been here living on earth,
After years of research no one can say.

Humans evolved and have become rulers,
At the top of this ecological chain.
Humans have become the powerful masters,
Plundering resources they cannot sustain.

Man has been taking so much from this planet,
But their not putting quite so much back.
Destroying eco systems all over the world,
Now their future survival looks pretty black.

Global warming, Violent storms, volcanoes too,
Tornados, earth quakes, was just the start.
This once stable eco system of life,
Is now drastically being torn apart.

Humans now face a serious challenge,
To find new ways to now save the planet.
The eco system must now be restored,
Humans are the only species that can do it.

Survival right now for every creature,
From micro organs to the human race.
Must have the eco system fully restored,
Or total extinction we surely will face.
