“The Word’s Haiku”
I
The words do flicker
Distantly as weakening,
Fading, candle glow.
II
Within my shadows
They abide among darkness,
Redundant as I
III
Extend out, rescue
A composition from the
Enveloping black,
IV
Lay down tenderly
Upon matter, so as to
Reconcile my mind!
V
The satisfaction
Of reflection on paper,
Meaning upon life! |
