We were floating in each other’s arms, entwined as one in
a celestial glow.
The floor opened up, a firmament of smouldering golden sea
rose around us. The winds popped us like a cork towards the
sky. We looked down to see the earth disappear below us.
Through the clouds. Through the ionosphere. The earth became
a dot in the distance. The planets flew by as though
snowflakes in a storm.
We were divine entities...
