Dilapidated, by michelle hoult
|
Deteriorating thoughts and cynicism roll around on the
treadmill.
It eludes grasp of reason, thought or deed.
The stagnation that now enters is a phenomena that spreads
like birds wings.
Malleable ideas raise themselves and form.
The illumination of mistrust and hurt surface.
Isolation looms with reinforced helplessness.
The weeping starts to flow with total absorption.
This is a dark place.
It beckons.
With lasting darkness I await its end.
Dilapidated inner world and pain evolves.
This mental state has no rest.
Blurred words, bombarded senses of suffering.
The ultimate consolidation of unwelcomed truths.
Reflecting here on a unique position.
Do I run and hide or stand and fight.
