A torn world, by DAS Subscribe to rss feed for DAS

This is set in the World of Warcraft. Two children, one of
the alliance, one of the horde, best friends, walk through
Shattrath and see aldor and scryer fight and wonder why...

***************************************************

Shana and Eleanor, always together
Blue and pink walk side by side
Two best friends, two birds of a feather
One for the Naaru, one for the light

And when they reach the cities' edge
two people stand with weapons out
the children, hidden, watch the match
Aldor and Scryer yell and shout

The men fight hard, eyes full of hate
Blue against pink, they have no shame
The girls cry softly because their fate
one would expect to be the same

Each girl reflects within herself
Blue skin pale, ears hung in shame
And the small draenei whispers to the elf:
"Why can't we all just be the same..."
