Mother Dearest, by . QUEENIE . Subscribe to rss feed for . QUEENIE .

girls push
girls shove
we rough house
each other,
friends or not
you think it's a joke?
well i do not.

we mind bullet
each others
brains
we twist the words up
mix and match
adding lies
all just so
we can get by.

you look on
and ignore
the damage done
by each other
you see friendship
laughter
love, kindness
you ignore our pleas
but when you lose us
you cant guess why.

you taught us this
we learned from you
our mothers dear
you're killing us

slowly, surely
we start to hide
some of us
we plot to die
and you sit on your perfect
furniture
on teh phone
blaming someone ales's kids
for this..
pointing the finger
at teh mirror
is more like
the right answer here.

it was
our tactic gone wrong
it was something
you knew all along
we're the bitch
the wrong doer
we're the one
who caused all this shit
and you're teh one
who stands by blank.

well guess what mom
and this is true
i lied to them all
i did it just like you
when i was ten years old
and i manipulate
and now too,
everyone i meet
i learned it from you
aren't you proud now?

and now a girl
hangs from her rafters
in her room
another on teh tracks,
i caused this mess
i did it single handedly...
i taught them how
too...
i taught them, to be like me
to be
just like you.

Explaination {Mother Dearest}

today in school we watched a video on girl being bullies,
more so than boys are, becuase there has been a problem
latelly with teh girls at my school verbally attacking each

other... so i wrote a poem blaming their mothers. becuase
yeah... well it may not alkways be true but it most
certainly was about these young girls.
