Midwestern Town, by jak Subscribe to rss feed for jak

Midwestern town
the bus glides through
the matchbox houses on the snow
Gas station,
Churches
parks and ponds
The football field,
Solemn and majestic

Plebes you may say or trees
but they grow unpolluted

Humility is something you will never have

clean air
peace of mind
fat belly
because they sleep well
and the wife
cooks for him and
runs his life

you, will drown swimming to the boat
you'll get trampled in the race
You will fall in love
and.......you
will be replaced

both of you will end up renting moldy town-homes
alone, yellow teeth
cats running your lives.
