I was watching you both
He was beautiful dressed in black
You were stunning dressed in white
He was sharing sweet words with your ear
He was asking you to go with Him
You smiled at the thought
Did you know then as you do now?
You and I ran out of time
Fate decided for you
Didn’t matter that I would miss you
Didn’t matter if I wished for more time
Didn’t matter that others would miss you
Did you know then as you do now?
Seven years have passed..
I still tear up when I talk about you
Seven years
I still remember our last conversation
Seven years
I still miss your smokey scent
Seven years
Most of us can’t speak your name
Seven years
We still miss you
Seven years
We still love you
You were with Him
Hand in hand
Your hand on His back
His hand on your lower back
Pressed together
In perfect Step with each other
Did you know Nana?
Did you know you were dancing with Death?
