Free As A Bird, by Distant Lover Subscribe to rss feed for Distant Lover

I'm free from you and your ice cold grip.
You can't control me any more!
Now that we're done, my mind doesn't flip,
And my heart and head aren't at a constant war!

I'm free as a bird now.
Watch me fly away.
You've done your damage, just take your bow.
Let me fly while you're at bay.

Words spoken, actions committed,
The future ahead, and the past nearly gone.
Feelings mixed and abstracted.
I haven't lived like this in so long.

Here I go, about to fly free.
To travel and explore is what I'm meant to do.
Don't try recapturing me!
That's right bub, we're threw!
