To hold on, by Jadia4708au Subscribe to rss feed for Jadia4708au

Again it is tiring out the spirit
The lantern looses shine as reflects as dimly lit
It is loosing grip slowly and giving away the ground
Nothing seems to be within reach and nicely found

As days try to end
Let whole world come to you and befriend
Let every one know what you did
Have some slice from bread if they need

Had enough of to hold on
Nothing was allowed to be gone
Everything utilized for common good
If anything others can learn from us and digest as food

So what! If the work was not appreciated by a lot
So what! If the battle was lost without firing a single shot

Yet there was enough of gain to show to the world
It was end of hostility and animosity and nothing more to
hold

It is making me feel great as if on top the roof
It requires no words for appreciation as proof
It was done with clear aim of giving comfort
The ship was to be anchored safely at the port

How many remained behind me as shield?
How many deserted me in the battle field?
How could tell all that I was not at fault?
It has come from trusted as shock from the bolt

My entire youth is not spent on futile things
It has to do entirely different for something
It had something to do with public awareness
I don’t have to narrate it in any fairness

It will be considered as an affront to pride
It will be of no use if resorted to seek favor and hide
I have done nothing to jeopardize the common interest
It was done all keeping everything in mind and serve as best

Today I am on decline
No one prefers even to sit and dine
It is not the treatment I deserve at the end
I still wish them all the success as best friend

I know it may be raining at my departure
I had prepared for it as I was sure
Not all may realize it as simple courtesy
Someone may definitely come near and convey

Dud, you have done best and may go down as brave
You have done it till the last and have nothing more to
save
You may be remembered as bye gone days but with respect
This is known to all as it has always remained as cruel
fact
