The Only One, by moondaisy Subscribe to rss feed for moondaisy

I want to be taken,
Under your wing,
Of ever lasting love.
Underneath the stars,
On an never ending night.
I want to be the one,
captured by the warm glow of your heart,
And held there forever,
When a new day is start.
I wish to be the only one,
You want to wrap your arm around,
And play for me,
Our favorite sound.
I want you to be the one,
Who wipes these tears away,
Who uses protecting words,
To make it seem okay.

I want for you,
To burn your fire,
Through these beating walls.
I want for you to be the one....

...Just catch me as I make this fall

The one who tries to reach out,
Though I will push away.
Tell me that I'm strong enough,
And in my heart love will stay.

I want for you to be the one,
To tell me you love me,
To tell me, it can feel real.
Be the one to steal my heat,
But keep it in one part.
Don't tell me that I'm perfect,
Just smile,
And make it all worth wile.

I want to be the one,
Taken under your spell,
Of everlasting magic.
While dancing in the rain,
During a never ending storm,
I wan to be the one,
Captured by the light of your eyes,
And held there forever,
And never asked why.
I want to be the only one,
You ever want to kiss,
And when I'm not around,
You'll Madly miss.
I want you to be the one,
Who takes my fault away,
Who puts them somewhere safe,
Where they will always stay.

I want you to use your powers,
To wash this wish away.
Put it in the sea,
'Cause this isn't real,
And I know I'll never be,
The one for you,
The only one,
Your only one.
