Dreams, by moondaisy Subscribe to rss feed for moondaisy

Before the day flickers to amber,
I hopscotch to the corners of my mind.
Is it selfish,
To believe that all theses things are here for me.
IS it selfish,
To believe that nobody else is looking at the stars,
And that they are putting on a show for me,
So I can have an inside joke,
A secret, between the two of us.
But I don't ever want to be a star,
Acting, is like being someone else,
When we don't even know who we are ourselves.
What is it when families are to shy around each other,
Around themselves.
This isn't show and tell,
Its life and death.
Do we choose life or escape death?
A risk free life is full of more worry.
We should want to conquer the wold,
Until proven we cant.
Dreams are free,
So have as many as you want.
And let the traffic let us know,
That there is life beyond this place.
And everybody knows that,
Forced dreams while we're asleep are just as bad as
Forced dreams while we're awake.
So all gasp cartoon sighs of relief,
That cause the casein of the unnecessary candles
To bend,
All the way backwards,
Splintering the spines of life forever.
Hopefully to never shine again.
