A Broken Mirror (Poem), by YourEyesMyWords Subscribe to rss feed for YourEyesMyWords

Broken promises,
And the torn up truth.
No more lies,
Will come out of anyone's mouth...

'Cause she can't take it,
And I should know.
My name is Knelle,
Don't ask how...

The shattered mirror,
And broken glass.
Your heart was stone,
And made of trash...

Your insanity,
Does not bring me clarity.
But only the distinction
Between each borderline
We inflict onto ourselves to be
                               FINE.

You say this is normal,
And that you are the one that is sane.
But here you are,
Playing God,
Where nothing is ever the same...

So next time you point yur finger at me,
I'll point it right at you for sure.
Spin you around and remove your blindfold,
And I'll show you the
                     Broken
                           Mirror...
