In the night
She dreamt of never letting go
Of never leaving her deciever
How could someone ever mistreat her?
I'd always laugh and see the beauty on her face
I've given too much with nothing to take
I just wish she'd look a little deeper
See a little clearer
Even though I will misread her
She never wears the dress you saved her
Or bears the gifts I gave her
