I Miss You, by Invisible Poet Subscribe to rss feed for Invisible Poet

Come back to me
when your heart does desire
i await you next to the still sea
with thoughts of you feeding my fire

you are missed by the heart in my chest
taken away by wings of steel
until you return i will not know true rest
i know now what it is to truly feel

you are missed by the arms at my side
taken away by the calling of the sun
knowing you will be here again warms me inside
this heat does not fade when the day is done

And as the day turns to the black of night
your with me in the dark of the dreamland
thoughts of seeing you draw my heart strings tight
someday soon we again will walk hand in hand

you were gone but i knew you would be back
without you i know not what i would do
within you i have found everything i lack
and know this dear, whenever gone, i will miss you..
