Ignore the Truth, by Distant Lover Subscribe to rss feed for Distant Lover

After all that has happened to us, we've drifted away.
We don't speak a word;we have nothing to say.
We float right on past each other as if we were just two
spirits.
And when we do manage to talk, or conversations have their
limits.

Whenever we do speak, all we say is short almost
bittersweet.
Let's have a real conversation, really, it's my treat.
One or two words, that's all we get through.
Maybe the two of us could give some more words their well
deserved debut?

However, I just know you'll ignore my request to make a
friendship bloom,
So I'll just go ahead and assume
That your life is much better without me in it.
I'll ignore you too, and this time, I'll really commit.
