Rain Of Regret, by PenToPaper Subscribe to rss feed for PenToPaper

I no longer rely on your crutches.
Breaking free from your chains of terror.
I stole back my dreams,
As your life disappeared in the palm of my hand.
As the fire overcame your black heart,
Broken in the dust and smoke.

Storms erupt in your soul.
As streams of regret pour into your mind.
Didn't think she would leave?
She left you a note as she walked out the door.

"I'm stronger than you know.
Stronger than I know.
I've faced all my fears.
I no longer see tears."
