The Insanity Of Love, by Movel Lewis-Hope Subscribe to rss feed for Movel Lewis-Hope

How does one say goodbye when the person is already gone?
How does one cry when there's no more tears to be shed? You
lie awake and wonder what to do with the pieces of your
heart. You think of all the wonderful moments and hope that
they will sustain you. Then you come apart.

The laughter that comes is not from joy but from the mockery
of life. You look back, trying to figure out what went wrong
and the darkness descends. Taking with it the light that was
once so pure and true. Hope no longer holds a place in your
heart.

Doubt then becomes the thread that you hold on to. The
moment where you think that you are the one incapable of
love. How can one be sure of who to trust with something as
precious as your heart, when more times than not it will be
broken?

The insanity of love takes hold and you hope to survive. You
call upon the Most High for answers you may never know. You
wonder along in a daze hoping for some reprieve. You think
that one minute you're happy and then the next minuteit all
falls apart.
