Life as a display., by hanah Subscribe to rss feed for hanah

The past is coming down
as paper, ripped off the walls.
Memories being shredded,
Torn into pieces.
Soon it will be replaced by
Orange. Then yellow. Then
maybe blue. It will look as though
nothing ever changed.
But it has.
New display, new work.
More present becoming past.
New becoming old.
Until once more,
It is ripped from our lives.
