New Air , by Brianna_Wernham Subscribe to rss feed for Brianna_Wernham

Why does everyone expect tears to fall when two hearts
sometimes break?
Excuse me, but I'm being naughty.
And I don't need another.
No I don't need another.

If you take my breath away,
Well good for you.
But I'm wondering how long?
How long until you prove that you're about to fall down?
Can you keep the desire in the air?
Can you keep the things between us, between our mouths?
Others stop and stare,
Yeah I'm not feeling it even if I'm alone.
Cause I'm not there.

So many faces and I smile,
But it's not what my heart beats for.
You won't get past the smile,
Because I'm not down for a temporary thrill,
Uh, no.
Stop your ride.

I am all for imperfection.
But together, we can create a masterpiece.
Careful baby,
Do you want me?
Or do you just hate to lose.
They'll see,
I'm not what they bargained for.

Close your eyes,
And tape your mouth closed.
Cause I'm about to erupt,
And I'm about to be exposed.

Will you ride in on a horse or a motorcycle?
And will you be just in time?
We'll see how this story ends.

Leave me now,
And you'll see that I'm different pieces, drawn together.
I am new air.

Woah, look at my new air.
I was suffocating and was tossed into this living nightmare
which felt like a dream, and now I don't even care.
All the reminiscence, and it still won't make any sense.
I'm just saying this is no bitter ending.

Pick a road,
We've lived at a dead end.
All I'm saying is,
It's not over.
I'm not over.

I don't understand their logic,
But anyway you are what makes sense to me.
Everything else blurred out,
Edited, and now I'm behind the steering wheel.

All I'm saying is when my world stops spinning this time,
Wrong or right, can you catch me like I would with you by
your mouth?
We can dance in the dark,
I guess I'm asking you to light me up.

Woah, look at this new air I breathe.
Yes our old world is over,
But I've found me now.

My oh my, look at this new air I breathe.
Can you feel my heart?
It's drumming loud.
All I'm saying don't bother ever feeling sorry for me,
All you gotta do is look and see the new air I breathe.

It's like I woke up to a beam of light in the middle of a
dark road,
It's a disease after you've been bruised and couldn't stop
the cuts from being open,
And I hope it spreads.
Now you can't see me.
You can't figure me out.
You're speechless when my name is the discussion.
All you know is a memory.
Feel my new air.

Why is it assumed that tears fall after two hearts sometimes
break?
Excuse me, yes I'm being a little naughty.
I died,
But I was reborn showing my teeth, more than before.
But who said there's no beauty in the clouds?
Who said the storm didn't leave us with peace in the end?
I see you some random occasional days.
Oh this is my new air now.

I'll watch the fog get thicker and thicker.
I fall asleep to storms.
I can't ever lye afraid.
Everything's come undone,
And I built it all again one by one.
Cause I wasn't feeling it when they said my name,
It was time for a change.
Look at this new air I breathe.

 I was never feeling scared,
I'm trying to see what steals my breath.
Whatever happens , happens.
But I'll know what I want.
I'm brand new.

Would you look at this new air I breathe?
