You come to School and all you See, by Sarah Subscribe to rss feed for Sarah

You come to school and all you see,
Is people saying look at me!
Though behind all the attention the receive,
Is someone begging for everything bad to leave.

You confide is someone expecting it may help,
Then all the do is run and yelp,
Telling everyone what you thought was hidden away,
It takes everything in you to come let alone stay.

Soon everyone knows your secret,
And then you begin to fret,
"Are they going to treat me different?"
You start to get the feeling of pure isolation.

They say they're sorry
As they walk past appearing to be in hurry.
While others say "Don't worry I know how you feel"
When really they probably don't know the whole deal.

You come to school and all you see
Is people saying look at me!
