I Ran Away Too Fast, by Sarah Subscribe to rss feed for Sarah

The last time I saw you, I ran away too fast
Had no idea all the seconds I was mistakenly letting pass.
And now your gone, and all I see
Is a broken hearted little me.

I could of used those precious seconds to tell you how I
felt,
Now every time I think of you I can feel myself slowly
melt.

I could of said I love you,
I could of said I care,
I know it should be easy
But the truth is I was scared.

I always knew you'd leave me
Just didn't think so soon,
This really does feel,
 like I'm living a cartoon.

The last time I saw you, I ran away too fast
Didn't even think that this time might be the last.
Thought I'd come again tomorrow,
But by then I was filled with grief and sorrow.

The last time I saw you, I pulled away too fast,
Had no idea all the seconds I was mistakenly letting pass.

In loving memory of Bill Rycroft
