Words So Mean, Words So Nice, by Disruptive Silence Subscribe to rss feed for Disruptive Silence

Some people don't realize how hurtful their words can be
Words so mean, they penetrate past the surface and leave a
scar on me

What they say hurts further than skin deep
Words so mean, they make me weep

They don't realize what I have beent through to get here
Words so mean, they change what I see in the mirror

Do they not speak knowing that I already have my
insecurities?
Words so mean, it increases the pain my heart carries

It only takes one person to ruin three years of building
confidence
Words so mean, it makes me feel my beauty's absence

I know that beauty come from the inside, but sometimes thats
hard to believe
Words so mean, they make me feel dumb and naive

But it only takes one person to make me feel amazing
Words so nice, they heal all the bruising

One person can fulfill all the beauty I have never felt
Words so nice, it makes a flower come alive again after it
welts

I know some people are sent from God to help troubled
people
Words so nice, they would only be spoken by an angel

I hope all the people that have helped someone's self esteem
know they are appreciated
Words so nice, they are never fake or shaded

If only one person can heal a broken one, the world should
be a better place
Words so nice, making everyone comfortable with looking at
their face

I love everyone that has a heavenly mouth, only doing good
with it
Words so nice, they should be given full credit
