Watching You, by Mahmud Vellani Subscribe to rss feed for Mahmud Vellani

Watching You,
Watching me.
Smile gently with friends
watching you watch me
watching you
Unsaid words leaped so often
momentarily through faint gestures and silences

The swinging doors close on parting every time.
So much still to be said
So much still to be heard.

I know I will carry our silences
into the sea shores of my mind.
