To die, by eleanor maslen Subscribe to rss feed for eleanor maslen

the little girl was not scared, she had seen many horrid
things in her life. She could feel the slow trickle of blood
down one side of her face, but she could feel no pain - she
could not cry and she could not scream. she could feel the
coldness of the night and hear the yells. She felt her feet
and ankles get wet and cold, slowly the water began to rise,
at her chest should could feel the water making it hard for
her to breath, she looked to her side to her mother. Her
eyes were closed and her face was red. like a lifetime the
water come to her neck and then her lips and the little girl
closed her eyes, she knew what dying was, and she was not
afraid. She would see grandma and rex her dog. the little
girl did not feel anything as the water passed her eyes.
then she heard to the banging, but she was to tired to open
them, she felt strong arms tugging at her, but she was to
comfortable to be moved, she felt the cold snap as her head
broke the through the water, but her rescuer was to late.
The little girl had already gone.
