Mom, wouldn't you cry?
If you saw my heart,
if it was laid out for you.
I don't always lie,
but I don't usually tell the truth...
There's too much
and I'd loose it all if
everyone finally knew.
I'd be a sham.
I'd be a lost cause,
I'd break hearts and pause
for the next 20 years to remember
exactly who it is I've hurt.
Mom, wouldn't you try?
Can't you just open your arms,
hug me one last time tonight?
