Ups and Downs, by jwhwz Subscribe to rss feed for jwhwz

Life is a crazy whirlwind some days;
It has its ups and downs.
Somedays, it's all lightening and rain;
And others, it's filled with clowns.
But, all days need to be savored;
No matter what they are flavored.
There is much that can be learned from them;
So much knowledge to be earned from them.
But, often to get through them; it's difficult to accept my
life;
As, merely, a common-law wife.
I cannot handle extreme chaos;
It is a game with so much loss.
One minute, I'm excited; the next I change my mind;
Because life can be so very unkind.
But, if all is settled at the day's end;
And you still have your very best friend;
Then I would say that you're doing quite well;
After living your life in an emotional prison cell.
With every day, there are problems to face;
And good and bad memories that time can't erase.
Just cherish the moments you are elated;
Don't think about the times that they might be deflated.
For we just live one second to another;
So treat your best friend as well as you would your mother.
