It's Wonderful to be a Vegetarian, by jwhwz Subscribe to rss feed for jwhwz

It's wonderful to be a vegetarian;
Instead of a barbarian.
What's a cow and a chicken ever done to me?;
Nothing at all; don't you see?
I'd rather eat a tomato than a steak;
You see, nothing about me is fake.
The only problem is that my food isn't filling;
But, at least it doesn't involve killing.
Sometimes, I miss the taste of chicken;
But, mostly the thought of meat makes me sicken.
Not eating meat makes me feel good inside;
Knowing that nothing that I have eaten has died.
And veggies are not at all the same things;
They don't have a brain, a body, or wings.
There is still plenty to eat for proteins;
Like soy milk and nuts and soy meat and beans.
I like being a veggie eater like my Dad;
And this lifestyle is not a fad.
For, I have changed into a better me;
I respect an animal, a plant, and a tree!
But, everybodys' bodies are different;
Sometimes eating meat is heaven-sent!
