Shakey and His Curtains, by jwhwz Subscribe to rss feed for jwhwz

Shakey doesn't have quite enough curtains;
The reason why, I am not certain.
Personally, I appreciate privacy;
But, I guess Shakey may disagree.
For, he loves to watch TV;
And look out his window to see; I suppose he's always
expecting company.
Because, almost everyone likes Paul;
He doesn't have much money; yet, he seems to have it all.
For, in life; he has learned a lot;
That it's all about appreciating what you've got.
He claims he's had a happy existence;
When he was young, he worked with much persistence.
But, there always seems to come a time when things go
wrong;
Which will make a person sing a different song.
Just having to think about how we all ended up poor;
Is quite an interesting story; not a bore.
Sometimes, things happen that one can't control;
Which will make one feel like he lives in a black hole.
I very, very much do think;
That that is why Shakey takes many-a-drink.
I do not blame him for sipping too much;
Because he usually has a sensitive touch.
All of us alcoholics and schizophrenics can be evil and
good;
For many, that is clearly understood.
I, so much, respect my Paul;
He doesn't seem to have much, but he has it all.
For intelligence is something that he's learned;
And his wisdom is a quality that he has earned.
