Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if a paper the color tan;
Could be folded back and forth and turned into a fan.

Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if you had two rubber bands and
made the number 8;
It would be really great!

Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if tinsel and two squares of
white;
Made a shining star that would light up the night!

Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if you had aluminum foil;
And you turned it into a silver rosebud when you wrapped it
in a coil!

Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if a green piece of yarn and four
hearts of felt;
Made a four-leaf clover, and the cold days of winter would
melt!

Oh, wouldn't it be lovely if you had a few toothpicks;
And you could make a ladder out of your little wooden
sticks!
