You Couldn't Possibly Know, by Tim Pozzi Subscribe to rss feed for Tim Pozzi

Test me in this reality.
Talk in strides of
subtlety, meaning in
the depths of your sentences.
Simply expressing
expressions of nuance, and
newer tones of trust.
Thrust into this world
of hurtful truths,
you're not moved by
the ruthless ideal.

Spoke a moment to say
the things unsaid,
sat back to bask in
the visions I have in my head
of all your glorious mixtures.
Still the picture of perfect,
in my eyes.
Still waiting for a chance
still lying when you ask
"what does it matter?"
