A Queen and Her Knight, by Leslie Thomson Subscribe to rss feed for Leslie Thomson

My Lady, I ask for your favour,
My sword is at your command.
If thou shall but be thy damsel,
I shall bring peace to thy land.

Let me within thy castle,
Let me guard thy keep.
I shall stand steadfast beside thee,
And watch over thee during thy sleep.

For thee I shall fight any tourney,
And I shall take up thy quest.
And if any dragons besail thee,
I shall slay them and lay them to rest.

Say thou shall, fair maiden,
Let me evermore be thy might.
Thou shall be my Queen forever;
And I remain, thy loyal knight.
