If I get lost along the way,
Or just simply fade away,
I beg you to tell them all I have to say.
Tell the girls with the pea pod chains,
It is I who looks back in pain.
I regret not telling you how much you meant to me.
You are as poised and as beautiful as any friends could be.
Please inform the boy and girl who fell in love
That I'm so happy that's a thing they never fell out of.
because of that, they made I
And I always looked up to them with globe-like eyes.
Let the ones who blessed a tarnished soul,
Know their words of kindness took their toll.
Give the boy who took advantage
Some incite on how quickly his memory vanished.
I'd ask you to stop by the house I'd walk to every day
And tell those kids of the inspiration they gave.
Their innocence and ability are the things that kept the
faith in me.
If you find the time,
Might you give a piece of mind
To a special guy who restored the hope.
Yes, that'd all hlep me cope.
