My Old Friend, by Butterfly Warrior Subscribe to rss feed for Butterfly Warrior

My old friend,
we were two matched,
exactly the same,
weird, geeky, and nerdy,
we met in the past.

We began great friends,
and some people said,
we liked each other but we denied,
our friendship was too important and we were afraid,
the other would never in eternity feel the same.

You moved away two years ago and we haven't talked much
since,
that year ago you spoke,
I knew a few months later,
that my feelings for you were true,
I had a crush and my heart was set on you.

We haven't talked since,
and I've become somewhat of a stalker,
if we talked again then my heart wouldn't feel like it was
put up for slaughter.

If we talked again would you tell me,
that you felt the same,
or would you look upon,
the lines of fear and blame,
the feelings inside would never be the same?

Not really much of a poem but it was meant mostly for me expressing my hidden feelings, or i think i feel.
