Cross My Hopes, by Laurent. Subscribe to rss feed for Laurent.

Let me be everything
you want to see.
Let me say those words
that you wanna hear.

Let me get on with you,
so that I can forget you.
So that my wounds heal
forever, and then
when everything is done.
You won't have anything to say,
but I'll speak for both.

You loved rain
I'm sorry folks if you got wet,
but she liked it a lot.
I loved when she was happy.

Now I can only stay awake
as I'm waiting for your call,
but I can't hold it no more.
No more.

So I cross my hopes,
pack my bags
and I'm hoping for one more chance.
To kiss your lips,
to touch your hair,
to take you anywhere
you want.
