just another day..., by soumi chatterjee Subscribe to rss feed for soumi chatterjee

Just like any other day…..
Glazing sun…..cool calm breeze…..new hopes in thousand
hearts….
Just like any other day,
Busy roads…..struggling horns of vehicles…...indefinite
rush of thousand feets….
Nothing beyond normal was visible,
She was happy….she was gay….
Taste of fulfillment reflected all over her face.
Red roses….blue drapes….
All was perfectly placed.
Just few more minutes and l=her life would take its sweetest
turn.
There was a knock….
Deep in depth she was dying to hear from years,
She was confident inside her palpitating heart,
Imaginations peeped it….
Wooden door wide open…there she was….
Sinking in those wide arms,
Tasting those lustful lips,
Emotions overpowered it all.
She felt contended….she felt happy…..
Another knock…she was banged into the reality,
She blushed to her very own self.
Wooden doors wide open…there she was….
Sinking in those beautiful drapes,
Tasting the flavor ever unknown,
Tears overpowered it all.
She felt nauseatic....she fainted.
Just another day,
Just another morning,
The little boy gazed at those open doors….
She was still….she was cold,
Tiptoed he went near her,
Spellbound…he gazed around….
A piece of crushed yellow paper caught her eyes,
The only person to read it all
“ the end is ought to be the end,
Memories will always be cherished,
Live, love, laugh….
                                Please forgive,
             		   Forever yours”
