Grass Stain, by Bethany Nicole Subscribe to rss feed for Bethany Nicole

There is no turning back

I’ve fallen into the grass
My knee is red and sore
But it doesn’t hurt at all

There is no turning back

We were playing outside
We are never to be parted
My knee will never heal
You are always with me
We are a great team
And forever we will be

There is no turning back

As a child I was changed
By jump rope and playground games
A note passed in a classroom
A scrape across my knee
A handprint on me heart

There is no turning back
And I wouldn’t if I could
