Age versus Love, by Robert fraser Subscribe to rss feed for Robert fraser

The skin starts to wrinkle as age sets in
But that is not what is important it is what's within

If you have a heart that burns with love
You cannot grow old so young is your love

Your body may grow weak day by day
But the strength of angels within you lay

The soul is the eternal living thing it grows not old and
continuous to sing
It shines like the sun in the sky, pure and bright and
always on fire

Water may cleanse and you can scrub yourself clean
But your soul is the one that makes you dream

The heart and the soul must walk hand in hand
Will you let your heart and mine together walk this land?

You are my lady you are my friend
It is to you I can depend

God is my saviour my reliance my strength
If it his will we shall be together,

I am not rich in ways of the earth
Money I have none, silver a little
Love I have in abundance to give away
To the one true lady God will send one day
