Doorbells Suck, by Karlee Anderson Subscribe to rss feed for Karlee Anderson

The sleep was inevitable,
you are always incapable
of outrunning the clock.
Tick...tock...tick...tock.
Try to bend another knee,
if only you would see.
You can't move another rock,
you can't stop the clock.
Tick...tock...tick...tock.
The dreams will always come,
it's even lucky for some,
but not for you.
No, not for you.
Tick...tock...tick...tock.
Go and try to make another move,
just to see how much you lose.
You will never get it back
so just run the track.
Tick...tock...tick...tock.
Don't look back it's speeding up
if only you would pick it up,
but you can't outrun the clock.
Tick...tock...tick...tock.
Death is on your doorstep now
so why don't you begin to slow?
Tick...tock...tick...tock.
No use in running now.
Knock...knock.
