Black and White keys, by Katelyn7 Subscribe to rss feed for Katelyn7

With words that could make you go numb, a melancholy tune
haunts a small, little town.
People gather at the sight of the an that doesn't speak, but
they can't see past the black and white keys.

A hollow man, a blank face, and a too easily forgotten
name whispers out all his secrets and dreams, but it's just
black and white keys.

A broken down, bothered soul tries to hold on to one last
hope. A heavy heart, left as an open wound captivates the
crowd to the point where they can't move. He bites his
tongue scared to tell, but his worst fear is no one will
hear the truth.

A hollow man, a blank face, and a too easily forgotten name
whispers out all his secrets and dreams and the power that
we have, but it's just black and white keys.

He pounds away at the keys and people stand shocked in
disbelief. The meaning disappears, but the notes remain.
It's been too long since he's had a name. For as long as he
can remember he's just been the hollow man.
