It's easy to get down cos it's a grey town
A once great town has gone down

The once thriving pubs are all closed now
The once bustling market limps on somehow

The regal town hall building looks ashamed
To stand in a market square so badly lamed

The buses drive on by the empty stops
As the people scurry past the empty shops

Well I'm afraid that's it folks, the shutters are down
On this once thriving historic market town !
