Face, by *~Mik@y1@~* Subscribe to rss feed for *~Mik@y1@~*

You’re that face
Always watching me.
Spying on my life,
Never letting me be.
You stare me down
With those prying eyes,
Filling me up,
With horrid, dangerous lies.

Lips so tempting
Fill me with desire.
Attract me
To a destructive fire.
A kiss of death
For my soul.
Icy breath
Turns my blood cold.

Little voices,
Whispers in my ear.
One preaching doubt.
One pushing fear.
Each try to convince me
Of who I really am.
Try to control me
In every way they can.

Oh, the face,
Your face,
Haunts me in my dreams.
Hollow eyes,
Seek where my secrets lie.
Suck out the light.
Enhance the dark.
Vanquish any fight.

Leave me weak,
Writhing on the floor.
Screaming in agony,
Happiness is no more.
Beating me down
Until all hope is gone.
Stealing my identity,
Making me a pawn. ©
