The End, by Shauna DesJardins Subscribe to rss feed for Shauna DesJardins

It's not the end I pray
while beging for another heartbeat
Screaming in my mind
My soul wanting to die

Broken and Worn
Shattered and torn
The end not far away
Please accept your fate they say

It'll all be okay
That's what they all say
With a lost heart & a reeling mind
I let the reaper comfort me

If today is my last day
Then all my hidden tears I'll shed
Tears I didn't realize
Were not truly dead

A heart beat away
From dieing today
A breath away
From peaceful and sane

Death seems kind
When in this state
Is it the end?
I think that's okay.
