Rain made quite the anchored boy
underneath laid out the things he never could avoid

Today
is it half the same?
Why bother looking up?
They'll probably just give it away.
Today
am I half the same?
I think this thing
is probably not going away.

I could make it all up
and no one would even know the difference
and I could mess things up
and know that everything's gonna be fine
someday..

If only it could change in someway..
Someday

It seems lately he's been acting out
ok.. We'll raise the dose.
It's a little messed up. I know

To say
to a kid that's eight
"what's wrong with you? Why the hell do you act that way?"
To say
at the age of eight
"I'm sorry everyone, I probably didn't take it today".

If only I could change
Someday
