War, by Henry Yarbrough Subscribe to rss feed for Henry Yarbrough

I am war.
Of your bleeding faith.
Turn away once more.
Indifference is a killers grace.
Whispering misery to innocence .
I feast at your tears of despair .
In untold numbers the lives I have spent.
To gift you a death angels stare.
You don't even realize I am there,
I the depths of your soul.
Fading to black seething in lies.
Being human jus consuming you whole.
In language of a bleeding sky.
Mothers cringe as children die.
Minor symptom of a greater lie.
And no one asking why.
I am war................drink
