Saying Goodbye, by ~Angela~ Subscribe to rss feed for ~Angela~

When is it the right time,
The right time to say goodbye,
The last flower on the casket,
Maybe the last visitation,
Maybe the last conversation to be held,
Maybe the last text,
Maybe the last phone call,
Maybe when all hope is lost,
Or perhaps when the only faith you have is blind,
Maybe when you realize that you lost,
Lost the race,
And have to move on,
And say goodbye,
Say goodbye to the prize,
That you oh so wanted dearly,
There will be a better horizon,
You just need to leave the rose on the casket,
Forget the conversations you held,
Delete the messages,
Delete the recent calls,
And throw all the blind hope and faith you had away,
And gather a different side of hope and faith,
And jump in the car and leave it all behind,
And say goodbye to the life you wanted,
And look ahead at the horizon,
For the better life to come.
