Every Now and Then, by Lena Subscribe to rss feed for Lena

Every now and then, I think about this world.
I think about the children unfed and unclothed,
or the hungry homeless on the road.
But every now and then is not enough.
I spend most my days and nights alone,
and I'm the least educated amongst everyone I know.
I can't help those in need,
or those who are in constant fear in their sleep.
I can only try to help my self,
or my dying soul.
Because deep down within, my heart is growing cold.
And there is no one that can see through the secrets in my
heart, to help me reveal them or have them unfold.
