The power that is illusion, by Madaiah Subscribe to rss feed for Madaiah

The powerful people have come and gone for ever,
Like the kings, he rulers and the aristocrats;
The powerful wind comes and goes again,
Round the year when it is its natural turn;
Coming and going with conscious self declared power,
Is to get buried permanently in the debris of history;
Coming and going with natural power and flow,
Is to come and come again when the nature calls,
With fresh and refreshed power not of its own,
Without even knowing the power of coming nor going,
It just comes and goes and what we make out of this
Coming and going is merely a perfect illusion;
As testified by those who were self declared powerful
And yet dead and gone for ever despite the self belief
Of being powerful enough for all times and in all places
And it is the power of illusion nay the illusion of power
Both being buried in the unbound cycle of truth
That is neither power nor illusion but only ‘As Is’.
